Sharni Vinson

Sharni Vinson was born within the state of NSW and grew up along the beaches of the south in Sydney suburban Cronulla. At the age of 16, she competed at a National Level in swimming, having four State records through high school. Sharni was able to sing, dance and acting when she was an infant, which made her the third generation in her family to take part in. Her mother performed in musical theatre, and her grandmother was Australia's smallest ballerina in 1945 to be given a scholarship to the Borovansky Ballet Company in England. Sharni took up a place at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts Sydney at the age of 12 years old. In the following 10 months, Sharni was trained to perform in a variety of kinds of dance. In the year 17 after graduating high school, Sharni was signed to Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the all girl pop group "Foxfire IV" and their debut track "Roses," reached the top 50 in the australian ARIA charts.
